Description
Divided into four chapters, the volume contains sixty book reviews and opponent opinions on works that have been published at home and abroad in the last thirty-five years; some of the criticisms appear here for the first time. The thematic focus of the selection is given in the 16th – 18th centuries. century Central European literature and culture, with a view to Western, Southern and Eastern European literature and the history of ideas. The main goal of the compilation is to present and evaluate the source publications, monographs, study volumes and other professional works that usually publish the results of new basic research, to think further and to incorporate their conclusions into comprehensive contexts. The works and critiques discussed can still stimulate research, develop professional thinking, help clarify theoretical, methodological and terminological issues, and contribute to a more accurate understanding of the relevant historical processes in science.
